Brendon Urie: It’s really hard to say, “get out of the house, go be social, don’t be some weirdo. You know, get out there and just meet people”. It’s one of the hardest things to do, actually, is meeting people and going out in the world and seeing everything and experiencing it all.

Other than spiders, this was one of my biggest fears. Meeting new people. I’ve always tried to avoid it because of all the awkwardness that comes along with it. So, Every time someone I didn’t know too well asked to hang out I would just make up an excuse then sit at home on tumblr all night :/ Don’t get me wrong, I love tumblr but it gets kind of depressing when that’s ALL you end up doing every night. Then one day, I was just like FUCK IT. It’s only awkward if you make it awkward and thanks to my awesome courage I’ve built up, I’ve met soooo many awesome people these past couple months and grew pretty close to a few of them too. It’s crazy, 2011 might be a good year after all :]
